Intro and Question on Pads

Hello to everyone. First time post but been reading for about a month.

I waxed one of my vehicles by hand with Z-AIO the other day and quickly decided that was going to be the one and only time by hand. So I am going to purchase a 7424. I have read pretty much anything related to pads and back plates but I am just as confused as when I started.

I could really use some advice on what pad and backing plates to use. Both of my vehicles are 2007's. The Acura is grey, the Toyota is blue. I really just need something to help keep them nice and shiny. At some point they may need more work but I will worry about that when the time comes.

Thanks a bunch.

Re: Intro and Question on Pads

I would contact one of our great retailers. Bob at Danase will give you a quick crash course on everything you should use to start out.

Re: Intro and Question on Pads

If you're putting the AIO on correctly should only take you about a half hour to put in on and even less time to buff it off by hand. Should be a very thin coat using an ounce or less of AIO for the entire car. Using a PC will waste alot of AIO.

Re: Intro and Question on Pads

Z-AIO will well via a variety of pads - LC Black if you need zero correction, LC white if you need a tiny bit of correction, same for Edge white and blue, respectively. I would really suggest going with the Edge setup - I regret not having purchased it a while ago.
