Just Bought a PC 7424 - need some info

Hi, Just bought a PC 7424 + Dual Action 6.5" Foam Pad Kit (BFPK-100-CCS) and was wondering which backing plate I should use.. I thought a backing plate would come with the kit I don't have any detailing products to use the PC with, just the Meguiars - Step1-3.
I read some posts about it, but still I'm a little confused.. Please advice on the backing plate + products. Thanks Here's one pic of my new little toy.
P.S: the pad that came with the PC is somehow "glued" to the backing plate

The 6" backing plate will be what you are looking for. Haven't used Meguiars 3 step before so can't comment on that. When I first got my PC the pad was clued to the backing plate as well. I just through it out.

6" Backing plate? But which one? Could you be more specific? Or it doesn't matter?
