Lowe's completely out of PC 7336?

I was told by a local Lowe's tool personnel that Lowe's nationwide is out of the 7336 and would not be getting any more in, as Porter Cable is supposedly discontinuing them.

I was in the process of ordering a 7336 from the local Lowe's when given this news.
Can anyone confirm that their local Lowe's has a 7336 in stock, and if so, please list which store!

Yup--I've seen that thread. But still interested if anybody has seen one recently at their local Lowe's.

It's hard to believe the claim that every single Lowe's store in America is completely devoid of the 7336!

it not hard to believe because for several month they were on clearance
for about $50. So they sold very quick

I think you can also get them on eBay and Coastal Tools still sells them.

Back in December one of the three local Lowes had 4 in stock. I bought one as a spare (they price matched $47.60.... but only for one) and not long after that the other three were gone.

no the 7424 is the same thing with a smaller counterweight

No, they were both released about the same time. The 7336 was labeled as a sander, and the 7424 was labeled as a polisher. Keep in mind that these machines were originally designed for wood, not paint.
