Are these a good Value/Quality for my PC!!!

Porter cable 7424 6.5 inch polishing buffing pads

Are these a good value and quality for my PC? I'm getting my PC soon and want to get a vairity (so I'm prepared for all paints) of good quality pads.

Thank You!

what about the Dual Action 6.5" CCS Foam Pad Kit, which is on sale for $50. I need something to start out with. I also believe I would need to order a backing system too?

Yep, Lake Country pads are currently my pad of choice. I may try out the edge pads sometime soon but for now it's LC. Take care of your pads and your pads will take care of you.

I haven't used those pads yet, but I have some on the way from properautocare.com and once I get them I'll be detailing a 2002 Mercedes Benz S430, in black, complete with more swirls than any one car should ever have. I'll post up my opinion on them once I get to use them, which should be next weekend.

I have been using the LC VC pads, Lake Country Variable contact. I haven't had any problems with them at all, they are holding up very well and doing the job as good as ever.

I paid about $80 for a yellow, green, orange, and red CCS pads, a 6" backing plate for my rotary and a Big Blue III WW MF towel. So for $50 you're getting 4 CCS pads, 2 MF towels and pad cleaner and conditioner. Yeah, that's a pretty good deal.
