Need advice on Pad Selection for Cyclo - CCS/Edge/Cyclo Pads

Costwise, the pads are relatively in the same ballpark so that's not the issue.
Just looking for good durable pads.

Searched the archives and reviews across the board for each of the pads seem to be +++++. Nothing really negative on any of the pads

I'm torn like a girl buying shoes....which pad systems shoud I go with with my new Cyclo.

Edge 2K
Lake Country CCS with 3.5" flex plate
Lake Country 4" FLAT Pads
Cyclomasters Pads

Re: Need advice on Pad Selection for Cyclo - CCS/Edge/Cyclo Pads

I'd go with the Edge setup - between backing plates and velcro pad backings, my Cyclo is too expensive to operate these days. In the last two details I've done with it (and I only use it for finish polishing and LSPs), I've broken a backing pad and 2 LC flat pads... over 20.00 worth.

The Edge setup is pricey at first but I think it'll save big money in the long term - I've wrecked 10 or 12 pad sets on maybe 25 cars with my Cyclo - $$$$. I haven't decided if I'm going to go Edge with my cyclo or just sell it outright.

chefwong- Get the Edge system. I haven't used it yet but people whose word is golden swear by it. I'll be switching to it when (if?) I finally use up all my current pads. The regular velcro system is a lot better than the old style Cyclo booted pads, but it's still a PIA.
