Question CCS pads and cleaning?

Hey guys, I have been thinking about picking up some of those new LC CCS pads. But, as I do not change pads in the middle of a detail, but use the yellow pad conditioning brush to clean and dislodge the caked on product. By doing so would I being leveling the unique structure of the pad, or is the integrity of the design run deep into the pad?
