PC and 3000 grit removal

I have a black paint job on my Grand Am SC/T and tackled come of the older bird etchings with some 3000 grit sandpaper this weekend. What would everyone suggest to remove the sanding marks with a PC. I have 4" LC spot pads, a 4" wool pad. Products include 3m Perfect-it II, SSR 3, OHC, OC.

Help......

Perfect-It and an orange spot pad. If that doesn't work, step it up to SSR3. Use wool as a *last* resort but be aware that the micromarring from wool on a PC is going to need two steps to remove.

Went at it today. At first glance the 3m worked wonders on the 3000 grit sanding marks. But at different light angles and light you can still see the sanding marks. Should I just continue to work the 3m in or bump up to a yellow pad to start?

I'd rather do more passes with the milder pad, but I bet it'd all equal out in the end anyhow. Just be cautious with the 4" cutting pad...I've damaged clear with a 4" polishing pad (Cyclo green) and PI-III RC (about the same as your PI-II). NO way would I use the 4" wool pad, and it shouldn't be needed anyhow if I can do damage with just the polishing pad.
