Brown Pads?

Hey guys, noticed Danase has brown CCS pads... curious if i can use these to apply paste waxes? Also, is a 5.25 pad ok on a 5 inch backing plate?

I use the black/brown pads for paste waxes. The Blue is better though, in my opinion.

Yes, that is the correct plate. Most of the 5" plates are really 4.75"
