I wouldn't say power gloss is for light cutting...it's pretty serious stuff when you use it properly..I haven't had the chance yet to use it with a wool pad, but it's pretty nice when you use a yellow LC pad. Orange/white for the IP depending on the car, and white pad for the FPII. I found if I use the black finishing pad with FPII it's really greasy and doesn't break down enough for my liking.
Although I use a makita, not a metabo, I find myself rarely going over 2000rpm...I stick around 600-1800 while using PG. As long as you keep it wet and the pad moving, speed shouldn't really matter...it'll just get messy. (I've never gone over 3000 though..never find the need to) |
