PC RPMs??

The PC has a variable speed control. When I looked at my users manual, it mentioned OPMs (orbits per minute). If I rember correctly they ranged from just under 2000 OPMs to 6000 OPMs. What are the corresponding RPMs? The Edge 2K pads said to work around 1800 rpms. I dont want to spin the "backing plate" out of those Edge pads by using too high of a speed.

i believe it's in reference to the rotary...
