Give their PO106FF a try. It has a little moore bite than FPII IMHO and finishes up very nice. I have found IP to be finicky at times and gets thick sometimes.

IP won't give any better of a finish than FPII on a finishing pad, infact it will finish down worse due to the difference in abrasiveness. Remove ALL defects before finishing, then use FPII on a polishing pad, work it in at speed 6. I ALWAYS get the best finish using FPII over other finishing polishes, but your finish will not look its best if +95% of the defects are removed.

I have good luck using the IP and then FPII. The IP is moreabrasive and as a result will not acheive the finish you can get with FPII, regardless of pad choice.
