Question When using the Hitachi SP18VA...

....... are you guys using the handle? I just recd' mine from AG today and was wondering if I should install the handle or try it w/o first?

I use the handle. It's more versatile with the handle to me.

with the handle...it gets too hot without it holding the end of it like you would with a PC with no handle...i have mine setup with the larger part of the handle on the left because I can guide it with the left and hold onto it with the right....

I also use the handle.. just a suggestion, when putting the bolts in, dab a small amount of loctite on them (loctite blue). They seemed to lossen a bit without it, and then the handle pivots a small amount and drove me nuts. So tighten them real tight and use a thread sealant.
