What to use with 7424

I just recieved my PC 7424 with 2 orange pads, 2 grey/black pads and 1 white pad. I only have meguiars Deep Crystal System products to choose from. So what should i be using to remove swirls and scratches. Ive been using an orange pad w/ the paint cleaner (step 1). The results arent that great. So should i use the Polish w/ a orange pad instead.

Those are decent OTC products but for results attainable with a PC, you should move up to a dedicated polishing system/products. Most OTC products yield OTC results...If you wish to remain with products readily available to you, let us know what your selections looks like and we can determine what may be the best choices for you..But your on your way with the PC and pad selection. Orange and white, orange being the more aggressive, are your polishing whereas the grey is for final sealant application.

well im doing a buddy's black mountaineer, the products i have on hand are what i ahve to use for now i will move up soon enough. But after one pass on the body with the PC and orange pad and paint cleaner the paint was cleaned up a little some scratches and swirls removed and now there is holograming in some spots. Should i use the Meguiars polish instead of the cleaner?
