NEW-using PC to polish white/clearcoat ?

Hi, I am new to using a PC...have a 06 GMC white/clearcoat...when polishing, how does one tell when polish has reached the breakdown...it is easy on a dark color, but white, hard to tell. Any advise would be appreciated....thanks

Its the same, just harder on a white car. If you've got halogen lighting, look at an angle while polishing until you can barely see anything on the paint anymore, then you'll know it has broken down.

try to do it in the shade or a dim garage.

It makes it easy to see themarks the PC is making and the dust fling as well.

Hope that helped!
