Would like to sell new unopened G100

Hi Folks,

I won a G100 on meguiars.com recently. The problem is, I already own one, and don't have enough arms to use two at a time. So I'd like to offer it to autopia.com folks for $150, which is exactly what www.autodetailingsolutions.com is selling it for. The difference is I won't charge tax and if you live near where I work or live (in South Bay - LA county) I'll deliver it to you. I'll charge you what I get charged for shipping, which won't be too much on UPS ground.

It includes:

G-100 Porter Cable polisher, branded by Meguiars but offers lifetime warrantee
W-64DA backing plate
W8006 6 1/2" soft Buff pad

$150

I haven't opened any of it and I can take pictures if you want.

MODS: Sorry if it isn't kosher to sell on this board. I tried abay but I can't figure out how to sell it on that board. Please spank me and remove this post

Quite alright to sell here! Welcome! A moderator will probably just move your thread to the appropriate section for trading (which is hard to find I must admit).

i think if its 150 new, you should lower your price some. it isn't upopened because the picture has the box open. it goes down in value as soon as your crack that seal, much like everything else

in fairness that seems to be just the box megs shipped it to him that is open. What is the difference between the g100 and the PC 7424?

Open or not the price is steep for someone who won it and just wants to get rid of it. Especially when Lowes has them for $99.
IMO Meg's should have left the contest open to those who dont have a pc rather then let someone get it and sell it

Glowin97x: The G100 and pc are basically the same, a porter cable. The G100 is just branded under Meguiars

I congratulate you on your winnings but agree with the others. You need to make it a better bargain in order to move it. Had you considered keeping the new one and selling the old?

Well there is a small difference. The G100 comes with a lifetime warranty.

Is the warranty worth the extra $50? For $100 for a PC I'd just get a new one and not have to worry about sending it in and all that. All my opinion of course, different strokes for different folks. But thank you for clarifying, for some reason I thought the PC came with some sort of warranty, shows what I know

Hi Guys,

I did consider lowering the price, but I'd like to make a sale if anyone was thinking of getting one anyway from autodetailingsolution, this is just an alternative. If that person is near where I live or work, I'm willing to drop off. This is mostly to avoid buyer/sell trust issue. If no one wants it, then I'll go through ebay or something with a bit more protections.

The items are unopened as I stated, only the shipping box was opened.

G-100 is the same thing as a PC 7424, only difference is it has Meguiars silkscreened on it and Meguiars honors a lifetime warantee.

When I won it, I told them I already had one, and asked if equivalent credit was possible, they said they perfered to give me the G100. I didn't want to be a troublesome ingrate, so I accepted the G100.
