I have learned that the rotary isnt all that difficult to use. Patience has been my best weapon, not product or pad's.
I have been by passing the Clay. I go with a megs pad with PB Polish followed by EX-P. IMHO I cant tell the difference when I Clay it or when I dont. The durantion of the product last the same amount of time(6 months).
Is bypassing the Clay a bad thing?

Is bypassing the Clay a bad thing? | Depends on the car.
Claying takes surface contaminants off the paint. If you do that, then polish/seal/wax, then I doubt you would need to clay once more when the wax/sealant needs to be reaplied. Some cases on cars that Ive washed, you can just feel the texture of the paint, and know. | |

Yeah I have been working with not only my viehicles, but also freinds.
You would'nt want to come out this way, 113 today with 80% humidity, J/K but it is sticky. I have a Concord lined up for tomorrow. I plan on statrting no later than 8:00am. My plan is to be done by noon.
I'm gonna start off with PB's SSR-2. Then go with there Polish/Carnuba Blue. Top it with some Natty's Blue. It's a metalic blue, so its gonna look really wet when I'm done with it.

A couple months ago I used some RC and alot of SMR around the sides of a on a dark red Buick Terraza (minivan). It had been through the carwash too many times, so it had lots of deep swirls. Anyways after I applied paint sealant, and called it a day. It sat on the lot for several months and it finally sold this week. I washed it today and realized.... holy cow, there's spots of compound still on the roof!!
