HTEC w/rotary safe for glass?

Searched the forums for rotary polishing of glass and didn't end up feeling very certain on whether or not this would be a good idea.
I'm embarassed about the amount of products I have recently ordered and not yet used, so I'd prefer not to make *another* order for some glass polish at the moment

If there's something OTC recommended, I could probably swing that.

Anyone have input on if HTEC and/or OP would be suitable (safe & effective) for the windshield on my 2000 Sentra and 2004 WRX? Would be using an Edge 2000 waffle green or blue.

www.properautocare.com has some glass polishing discs that fit rotaries with autoglym glass polish...seems like a good kit. I have one sitting here but haven't tried it yet.

Machine polishing of glass is fine, I do it all the time
Not autoglym though, that stuff stinks the garage out
