What am I missing?

Looking for a little advice.

I'm one of those weekend warriors who likes to keep my car, and friends', cars clean. I got a PC 7424 and am loving the results. Most of the cars that I work with are really well kept up, but get the occasional swirls. I'm looking to put a wet shine on the car everytime, and am doing pretty well. BUT, I find myself missing something. I'm having troubles getting some of the swirls out of the paint, not really bad ones by any means, but troubles none the less. As of now, the PC process I using utilizes a Megs Yellow pad with AIO applied at setting 5 and follow it up with a Megs final buff tan pad with NXT on setting 5. What product/pad am I missing to get rid of the minor swirls? Are the products I'm currently usng not strong enough? Am I doing something worng? Should I be able to get results from the pair but am just not hitting it hard enough?

I'm wondering if there is one combination (pad/product) I can add to the mix that will round out the process. I'm no professional by any means so don't plan on filling my garage with 50 different polishes and waxes, I just want a solid trio that will clean up the paint on car that are generally well taken care of. Any thoughts?

I dont use AIO, but I think its a chemical only cleaner ie: no abrasives.

you need to use a true abrasive polish to remove swirls

Optimum polish, Megs #80, Menzerna polishes.. there are many to choose from
