Faded paint on the hood, PC, what to do?

I bought a PC about 6 months ago. I have yet to use it, i'm scared.

Now i've decided it's time. I have a 88 ford ranger and the paint has seen better days. The hood in perticular could use some nice polishing/buffing etc. I have Klasse AIO, would that do the trick? I just ordered a oranage and white pad and am hoping i got the right ones.

Can someone point me in a direction on how to apply the AIO with a PC? I did a search in this forum and came up with 100's of replies but a quick glance through some of them i couldn't find any actual information. I'm sure it's here somewhere...

Wash, Clay, Polish, Wax, i got that much, i jsut dont know how to polish. Never done it before.

I suggest looking at the top of this page, and clicking on the "learn!" button. You will find some great info there.

If you can't find the button, here's a link:

Start small and go gentle. As you work your way up you would get a feeling of what you can do.

Read up on this site you will learn a lot. I mean I understand you are concerned that you may damage something but would you learn if you do not try.

Or if you are still hesitant hook up with one of the pros here that is local and have your car done and sell the PC.

cheers

Nick

I'm not worried about the ranger at all, it's the beater. That's why it's also the experimental car

Thanks for that link, exactly the info i was looking for!

Definatly don't be worried about the PC. Its a teen age girl friendly tool, so you shouldn't have a problem.
