My first swing at the 7424

Since it is a 3-day weekend, I figured I'd try out my new PC for the first time. As this was my first time with the PC, I used my daily driver, a 1997 Red Toyota Tacoma that maybe got wax on it once when it was new...then, uh...it hardly ever gets washed even but at least it sleeps in the garage.

Day 1:
Wash and Dry Truck with Poorboys SS
Clay with Sonus Green and ONR as lube. Took a while since the car has never been clayed in 9 years.

Day 2:
Mask the car with Blue tape.
Break out the PC
First tried the SFX-2 (White) pad with Optimum Polish...seemed a bit light, so I went to the SFX-1 (Yellow) pad with Optimum Polish.
On the hood, I followed the Optimum with some FPII on the Blue pad.
The rest of the car, I just did more Yellow pad and Optimum.
After pulling all the masking off and wiping down with some ONR in a spray bottle...I'm beat, so LSP goes on tomorrow (AIO and SG, then more SG every weekend for a few)

Tomorrow, I'll have to see what the truck looks like in direct sunlight to make sure I didn't leave any machine marks....but I couldn't see any in the overcast light this afternoon.

Overall, the paint improvement was awesome! I definitely need to try some more aggressive polishes on the deeper scratches, but not bad for my first time. (do your arms and hands tingle for hours afterwards? And should it have taken me 5 hours to just go over the car ONCE?)
