Cleaned my Pad, what is this?

Brand new pad used once, I cleaned it by hand with some water mixed with dishsoap, its dried and has ripples on the back of it, can this be a problem?

Don't know what's going on with that pad, but I must admit that I get somewhat aggressive when cleaning my pads using the same method as you, and mine don't ever look like that. It almost looks like the adhesive for the velcro backing started to let go when it got wet, and allowed the velcro to shift a bit. I'd keep an eye on it, and see if it lets go completely. At this point, you're in no danger of anything, just keep an eye on it. I'm sure whoever you bought it from will back you up, most do.

Looks like a Sonus DAS Orange pad. I think they only warrant their pads if you use the "Sonus Der Wonder Wasche" to clean the pads.

That looks a lot like my orange Tropi-Care cutting pad. I believe its the same exact pad too. My velcro actually came off after washing in the sink. I sent mine back to Tropi-Care and they sent me a brand spankin new one for free. They really have great customer service.

Anyways, yours looks like its been warped or something from the water?

I've used my pads from Tropi-care 4 or 5 times now and haven't had a problem. The backing on the yellow one is a little wrinkled in one or two spots but nothing that I'm worried about.

Try to keep your pads flat when washing and drying. You can still dry them by squeezing the water out of them without bending the pad up. I would be careful with that pad in the future because it looks like that glue may let go. Be careful pulling that off in the future, make sure you hold the white velcro when puling off of your backing plate.

I try not to ring them out. Instead, squeeze the water out the best you can and then put the pad on your PC and spin dry it. It will still be a little damp, but it can air dry the rest of the way.
