how do you clean this?

Hello. Here is a link to a pad that is glued to it's backing plate.
How do you clean this?
I don't think that will work sinking them in a bucket with dish soap...
Only with pad brush?

I have actually read over at MOL that pads shouldn't even be cleaned, ever, using water. Just a good spur tool to get the gunk off it...

That said, why go this route when you can get hook&loop pads + bp for around the same price?

Because I'm in Romania and the pads that you say aren't quite cheap here.
I I'm trying to live with what I have ...

I don't see why you couldn't clean those pads in a bucket of water--why do you think anything would be damaged from that? The only thing that might happen is the threads could get a little rusty, but they look like they are plated...they should probably be ok for the life of the pad.

Meguiar's recommends it because the glue on their pads isn't (or wasn't) that stable. They don't recommend using speed 6 on the PC exactly for that reason.

I think that pertains to wool pads and not foam pads.

Nono, they say that to foam... of course they shouldn't be spurred.
