I only have Mezerna Power Gloss in the series.
I was thinking of this route as I'm on a severe time constraint with this customer
Mezerna Power Gloss - rotary / orange pad / 1500 rpm
Optimum Polish - rotary / orange pad / 1200 rpm
or skip the Optimum Polish and go straight to sealant ?
I ask because the customer does not want me spending A LONG time on his car smr'ng if its a nice day. He wants the swirls gone, in the fastest possible time.
your suggestions ? | |

PG is still a heavy compound...it just finishes down remarkably well given the degree of cut. You will need to polish after using PG for sure. Also, the orange pad isn't my favorite with the PG, as it really seems to gum up.
Optimum polish should be fine as a follow-up...on black I like to stage down an extra step (i.e. PG, OC, OP).

I save PG for the BIG jobs only...usually my three-step polishes only on vehicles that are hammered...otherwise, I stick with OHC, OC, and then OP. Hyper compound and PG will finish down about equally well, the difference being PG will make a huge mess, though will provide more cut...it's a trade-off for sure.

-Menzerna Powergloss via rotary and LC Yellow Cutting Pad @ 1500-1700 rpm
-Menzerna Final Polish II via rotary and LC Black Finishing Pad @ 1500 rpm
or substitute the last step for:
-Optimum Car Polish via rotary and LC Black Finishing Pad @ 1200rpm
