Title says it all. Trying to figure out what pads to get for my new rotary. I already have a PC 7424 and 6.5 Meguires pads. From what I gather I can use those pads on my rotary if I get a new backing plate. I was wondering if I would be better off moving up to a 7.5 inch pad on my rotory and what other brand pads are out there that will work better than the Meguires?
If you're just learning the rotary, I'd suggest sticking with the smaller pads as they are easier to work with. The Meguiar's BP's for the rotary are the perfect size for the pads too.

Black cars are fun! Yes, I *do* use grout sponges!
I bought a full lineup of propel pads and backing plate for my new hitachi. Didn't take long to get the machine under control. I came from a lot of PC polishing though...
