Upside down on a MF for me. My DA balances perfectly on the backing plate with no pad on it so that's how I store it.

I use the PC with the handle, so I lay it down so it rests on its back with the handle supporting it.

one of the reasons i bought a steel push cart. so i can lay the pc, brushes, liquids, etc.. on it without having to keep bending over.

wow... buffing your buffer... what has this site come to!

I too use the handle on the pc so it's just flipped upside down resting on the head and the handle edge. for the rotary, atm it's just sitting upside down on the shelf. I've never detailed with it yet. more than likely itll go upside down too.
