Sonus Pads vs. Lake Country

Hi guys!

I recently did a car with LC yellow pad + Menzerna IP, followed by FP with a LC white pad.

Are the Sonus pads any better? What color pads would correspond to LC's yellow and white?

Also, how much pressure should I be putting on the PC? I made passes at just under speed 5, and applied enough pressure so that it looked like the pad wasn't rotating around in a circle, but rather just vibrating back and forth.

Thanks!!

I've used both and now prefer Sonus as they appear to last longer. But that's just my $.02

I use Sonus Orange for compound, Sonus Green for light compound , Sonus Blue for pre polisher like AIO

I don't apply much pressure other than to keep it firm and let the machine do its work at either speed 5 or 6.

hope that helps
