What do you think of this combo?

1997 black MB E430 need to remove medimum level swirl marks. The goal is to remove at least 70% of swirl marks. Thinking 2 steps polish (of course will clay the surface first).

1) Rotary buffer (1200rpm), Sonus orange pad with Optimum polish. And then follow with......

2) Cyclo buffer, LC white pad with Menzerna FPII.

Do you think the 2nd steps will remove hologram that orange pad left behind if that is the case?

Should I use the Rotary buffer instead of Cyclo all the way? If yes, Would I create more hologram with the white pad with FPII?

I always use cyclo or pc for finishing step. Can I use rotary with white pad?

Ive used my black hood as a test area, ive used FPII(rotory-white polishing) with all sorts of speeds and techniques, as long as have some sort of common sense, your finish should be hologram free.

Since you do have a PC, for shitts and giggles i would follow up with that.
