| I got one for testing and found a few problems with it:
1. Even though you are using it by machine, and the machine is doing the work, it does not do as thorough a job. It does not get into small, tight areas very well, which means you're still going to need to do hand work. So, does that mean you stop and pull the clay out of the pad or open a second bar?
2. The clay fell out of mine twice.
3. Picking the machine up and putting it down multiple times to spray on and wipe off lubricant is a PITA. Are you really saving time? I don't think so!
4. DANGER! All it takes is one grain of grit in the clay to do some heavy marring.
Great idea, but in practice hand claying is faster, easier and safer.
