Question how long have you had your pc?

just curious.... how long have you had your pc and how many hours/details have you gotten thus far, and does it still run like a champ?

Since 2001 with LOTS of cars under its belt. It sure is ugly on the outside and the plastic motor cover vibrates like a SOB but it still runs like a top.

Had mine for about 6 months, detailed about 8 times and still keeps on running. On the other hand, I've had my Makita rotary for 16 years, used it hundreds of times and it's still running. The only problem is the power cord is shot but I've been lazy about getting it fixed.

I've gone through two due to bearings. I've had MANY cars under them though.

Haven't had mine too long, but I've used it to buff cars, and to sand my front door (it's a powerful sander btw), and mine is running great.

Oh, gee, I forget just when I got mine...had my older one about 14 years or so. In that time it's needed rebuilt once and it's starting to sound like it needs it again. No idea how much it's been used, but not *nearly* as much as the Cyclos, which never need any repairs and don't start making untoward noises like the PCs do.
