minor/slight machine marks..

Hi All,
after just pruchasing my Makita 9227 and getting very satisfactory but not perfect results on a Suby. I'm wondering what I can do to remove the very last of the ever so slight machine marks.
I say slight, because you can only see them when it's a very sunny day and looking from the right angle.
I've used the Megs speed glazed like some of you suggested and that elminated the machine trails that I had prbs with.
I would like to get he base perfect before I apply the LSP which will be Megs NXT.

On another topic, how does one remove swirls and scratches which are under the clear coat. Is it possible to use the Megs Diamond cut compound # 85 to cut through the clear and polish up the colour??

cheers,

Swirls and scratches under the clear are best left alone. If you cut through the clear you are in deep sh!t. The difference in paint between the cleared and non-cleared parts will always be noticeable.

To remove the end of the marks, just use a soft pad and very low speed. I use a blue pad, PO85RD and 650RPMS when I leave trails.
