#1 Is it essential to keep each pad for only one product, IE dont use #80, #83, 1Z Paint Polish etc etc all on the same polishing pad? Or can you share a pad between multiple products and if so, how do you go about cleaning in between? Cant really afford a pad for every product at this point

#2 When using the PC, how much pressure do you apply? None at all, very light or bear down?

Ideally, it should be one product per pad. But I believe you can use the same pad if you're stepping up to a more abrasive polish (e.g. same pad for #80 then use for #83).

I don't have my PC yet but I've read that people put about 5-10lbs of pressure - they practice by pushing down on a weighing scale. Strikes me funny but I guess it works.

Just make sure to clean the pad out before using it with a different polish. I throw mine in a bucket with some dawn and Hi-temp Klean to get the polish residue out. I then use the hose to rinse out any soap/polish and give them a squeeze all around to get most of the water out. I then spin it on the rotary to get the rest of the water out. Then I can go back to using the pad.
As for how much pressure to use on the PC, push down until it stops spinning, let up a little bit until it spins again and that is where you want to polish at.
