Help a newbie with a new car

I have been reading the forums for a few weeks but have seen little advice on a BRAND NEW CAR. I just purchased a Black on Black '05 Acura TL expecting to have to spend more than a normal amount of time on detailing. I am planning on purchasing a Cyclo from winner circle. It will come with white, blue, yellow pads and both sets of brushes. I have used MeGuires products before cleaner, poisher, wax so I would be most comfortable using their products.
My questins are, What other pads bonnets should I get? I thought about an extra set of each pads plus som microfiber bonnets so I don't have to clean pads all the time. I assume I don't need a cleaner just polish and wax? but what pads should I use? What else do I need beside polish? I want to place an order ASAP so I can detail my next weekend.
Thanks in advance,

zguy

Read and learn on here. It is too hard to recommend products when there are so many of them out there. However, ordering your pads from exceldetail.com is probably a good place to start. As you read on here you will begin to see what kind of a combo you might want to try on your vehicle to get it the way you want it. Also helps if we know what exactly you want to achieve on your car.

Thanks for the reply, I was able to find some really good posts. Since I was wanting to get started ASAP I went ahead and ordered.

From Winnerscircle
1 85-013 Ultimate Cyclo Package
5 Lake Country 4" Blue Foam for Cyclo
4 Lake Country 4" White Foam for Cyclo
3 Lake Country 4" Yellow Foam for Cyclo
5 CyBonnets Microfiber Bonnets for the Cyclo
1 BrushKit1 Super Cool 8-Item Brush Kit
2 Waffle Weave Drying Towel Special!
2 MF Plush Plush Microfiber Polishing Cloth
1 81-202 Car Wash Nozzle

From Autopia
Klasse All-In-One
Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze
P21S Carnauba Wax
Meguiars #34 Final Inspection
Meguiars Quik Clay
Meguiars PlastX Clear

The PlastX and Clay bar are for my wifes SUV.

My plan of attack was

Wash with Meq gold car wash
AIO
Klasse SG X 3
use MEG FI to QD Between layers of SG
Top with P21S
I have read that Souveran is better for black cars but we will see how the P21S works.

I do have a few questions.
about AIO and SG do I need to wait 24hours between AIO and SG like I do between layers of SG. Also do you have to wait a full 24 hours for SG.? I'm a consultant and I am only home on weekends which means this process will take 2 weeks to complete.
Also should I use the cyclo to apply and remove AIO, SG and P21S or just to buff it off?
As far as what I'm trying to accomplish I want to protect the car without having to deatail it every month but still look great. That's one reason for using P21S over Souveran it doesn't attract as much dust.

Let me know if I forgot anything.
