PC7424 and decals???

Hi! I'm brand new to the world car detailing, but I just got a '78 Vette in pretty decent condition...so it's time I started making my way through the world of detailing! This forum has been an amazing asset so far!!

I'm thinking about getting the PC7424 for applying and buffing out AIO as well as applyinng P21S Carnauba Wax. My issue is the decals on my car. There are pinstriping and other decals along the sides, and on the hood of my car. Is the PC7424 still a good idea? If so, what precautions do I need to take to not ruin the decals?

Thanks!!
Steve

Is there any special way of using it around the decals so I don't damage them?

If unsure tape them off, for machine polishing and do them by hand.

There is no special way just go right over them. I have the TRD stickers on my tacoma and PC'd right over them.
