About to use an orbital buffer for the first time, need some tips...

I don't have anything to practice on...car wise...any thing else that I could practice on that isn't a car? Also...
What steps should I take, like what polishes and glaze should I use. I'm going to be polishing a blue car so anything that will make it look amazing, give me the full procedure ingredients.
Thanks in advance.

I am guessing you have a PC but I would start with evaluating the paint. If you have minor marks then something like #80 would be great but so much depend on what problems you need to fix.

Whilst a PC is not foolproof it is hard under normal circumstances to damage the paint.

I would suggest you read this first-Porter Cable 7424 DavidB
and then check-Table of pad foam types and colours
Good luck
