My dad has this Del Sol that has never been waxed, and it looks like it was repainted by a low end body shop. I used a Propel Green with SMR X2 and it make it a little bit glossier, then moved up to Propel Yellow with FI-II and it made a more noticable difference.

Should I continue with these products until the results are obtained or are these things just not powerful enough for this car. Also, my yellow pad turned silver after using it. Normal or did I F up?

I am working on this car to tune up my skills before using it on mine. My car is very swirlfree thanks to proper washing technique but the tailgate has compond haze from a ''pro detailer''

The silver color on your pad was most likely due to silver paint transfer from the Del Sol.

Sometimes you need to move up to more aggressive products. You could also try making a second pass with the FI-II and yellow pad if the paint isn't in the condition that you're looking for.

Update:
I made a second pass with the yellow and FI-II, it got a little bit better. Still a whole lot better than before.

I figured the silver was from the paint, I was wondering if its normal to take off some paint to while using an med cut pad. I thought I was working off the clear coat layer.

You always remove some paint with an abrasive product/pad. If you are working with a clearcoat, you remove clear paint, which you don't see.
If you are working with single stage paint, you remove paint that is the color of the car.
It doesn't sound like the Del Sol is clearcoated. Unless only some of the car was repainted, meaning you have some area that is clearcoated and some that is not.
