What do you think about this adaption?

Is there any way that I could adapt this thing to work as a PC pad? I was planning on scrapping the stock PC White pad once its shot, and then trim and glue this thing onto it.

I'd be using it for restoring the paint on my boat, and on stuff like headlights.

Any pictures of the stock PC backing plate would be greatly appreciated, along with tips on how I should do this.

I would take the stock PC screw on backing plate and just glue the hell out of it to the back of the pad.

BTW, this has been bothering me since you lost your original user name. You spelled "formerly" wrong in your signature.

And why is there a picture of yourself at the top of that chat window?

Go to AC Moore or some place like that and get a 12x12" piece of velcro. Get some quality epoxy (Devcon or 3M brand at Grainger) and attach the velcro to the back of the pad, that way it will attach to the PC backing plate as normal. You'll probably spend about $10 to make it work like the one that TOL sells. Oh well.

Its MSN 7.0. Thats my list of contacts, thus my picture being on top.

And sorry I spelt it wrong. I'll be sure to not make the mistake again.

Also, for the person that said "Why?". Because I have it laying right here, why waste money on a new one thats goign to be destroyed after one usage?

Its almost scary what he notices eh? Makes you wonder. Sorry I'm taken

Just giving someone my own age a hard time.

Steve, I'm not flirting with you, so keep your mind out of the gutter and stop flattering yourself.

You might try some double sided tape too. Really, really, strong double sided tape.
