Getting a Pad Kit

I'm in need of a pad kit with a velcro backing plate. I know Meguiar's has one that is $42 total including shipping but are there any other trusted sites out there with quality brands maybe on sale? The Meguiars has 2 polishing pads, 1 finishing and the backing plate. I know Sonus has one but I have no clue how much is it nor where to find it.

Many thanks.

I know they have a bunch of kits, but I'm not sure which pads they contain.

The Sonus kits are available from the Autopia Store.

Is loop and hook mean velcro? I never really figured that out. Also, I guess these are good pads at an affordable price.

That is correct. It is the velcro model. Excel Detail has the best prices and deals for both the pads and towels. Many have jumped on the bandwagon of his Excel Detail Pad Kit and absolutely love it. Service is absolutely top notch (like all Autopia's fine vendors).

Yes that is referring to Velcro, and yes again, they (the Propel) are very good pads.

I also like the Meg's and LC pads, and the Sonus are also good (very similar to the Propel). It sounds like you already found the Meg's pad kit, but if you're looking for the Sonus here they are:

Thanks for all the replies. Are there any other sites?

I've not had a very good experience with Paypal and I want to avoid it as much as possible. Of course, there are other ways of payment but...

Loop + Hook is a generic term. Velcro is a product name.
It's like Kleenex vs. tissues.

Here is a list that should keep you busy for a while, not all of them carry pads, but most do. As far as payment goes, I think most would take a check or CC if you e-mailed and asked:
