Porter Cable 7428

I see a bunch of info on pads for the 7424 - Does the same information apply to the 7428. I realize it is a completely different machine, but do most of the same ideas apply. Most importantly - should I start with the 6inch pads and work up to 8.5?

timmy-wash ... I find the 6" pads are easier to use than the 8.5" pads. If you do not have a lot of experience with a rotary, or want to get the most use from an existing stock of PC 6" pads I'd stick with the smaller pads.

I expect some of the pros here are very comfortable using the larger pads, maybe they could chime in with some advice?
