LC Low profile 5.5" pads vs LC Hydro Tech

Does anyone have any comparison thoughts on these two pads? I have used the low profile ones for a while now but it's time to replace them. I have tried the CCS pads and they are ok.....but not great. Thanks in advance for any help I ca get on this!

if you arent using waterbased polishes id use the constant pressure flat pads, since hydrotech pads are for waterbased products and cut less.

Re: LC Low profile 5.5" pads vs LC Hydro Tech

I just ordered a few of the Hydro-Tech pads. I've been using the CCS pads for a while but they really aren't that great. They don't last too long before they need to be replaced.

I should have my pads as well as my 105/205 tomorrow so I'll post some reviews within the next few days.

NEW Lake Country Classic Flat
5-1/2" Foam Pads

CMA has a special relationship with Lake Country and is supplied with pads that have a unique technogy called Constant Pressure. Night and day difference in feel (especially w/rotary) in comparison to other company's blank pads.

Holy shnikees, their sale price on the Hydro-techs is about 40% off what Geek and PAC are selling them for. DT also has most other LC pads at unbeatable sale price right now, too.

Thanks for that, Got_Leather!

I always wondered how to spell that, Supe . Sheesh, you guys had me looking at all those pads at the DI site for 3-4 minutes before I finally snapped out of it and realized I still have like 30 pads I haven't even used yet...darn Autopia...

Re: LC Low profile 5.5" pads vs LC Hydro Tech

thanks for the link. i'm comparing prices between AG and DI. Specifically, I'm looking for LC flat 5.5's and it looks like AG doesn't have them on their page.

hydro tech's sound interesting, but how does one know if their polish is water based or not?
