Yeah, its out of control now. I had to print a chart to hang on my detailing cabinet because I couldn't keep it straight in my head. Meguiars was keeping the sanity till they started messing with the colors now. We need standardized colors.

Re: What Pads???????? Help Please!!!

Unfortunately, the various manufacturers aren't cooperating on that score. It can be pretty confusing, which is why I bundle the matching pad with all my GlossHaus stuff.

Frankly, I haven't really seen anything in the CCS, etc. pads that would prompt me to switch from my tried-and-true LC flat pads.

Re: What Pads???????? Help Please!!!

Why two more "special" colors? Theres nothing a yellow, orange, white, black and red cant do.....................2 greens? WTH? Matter of fact, i did a number on an Audi R8 yesterday with ghost water spots with 5.5 Orange and FK 17 Micro Compound, followed by Opt Compound II w/white. (Then UPP of course). One of the better finish jobs I have done.

Re: What Pads???????? Help Please!!!

a.k.a. Patrick- I dunno if that cyan pad is gonna prove to be anything special, but if the tangerine one, and its being offered in various sizes, effectively puts the Griot's orange into more widespread use, then that's good news IMO.

Gee, am I a cheerleader for that particular pad type or what

Re: What Pads???????? Help Please!!!

I would get 2 cyan and 2 tangarine pads and be done with it.
