One Step Suggetsions?

I have a couple of cars coming up that do not want fulll correction, just remove some water spots and minor/moderate swirls. What is a good one step polish with the PC? I have ZPC and Sonus Swirl buster but what is a good recomendation to be strong enough to remove most of the swirls and finish down relatively glossy. They are looking for about 90% correction. (i.e. do not want to spend the money for a full correction.)

Re: One Step Suggetsions?

Meg's D151 is a good AIO. I don't know how bad the swirls are that you need corrected but it has done wonders for me when called upon. Orange LC pad and it finshes nicely most of the time with one shot.

Re: One Step Suggetsions?

For a 1-step using a PC, I have found nothing better than Menzerna Power Finish (PO203S) using a 5.5 inch orange pad.

This is exactly what I was going to suggest.

Re: One Step Suggetsions?

Menz Power Finish is good, no doubt, but IMO D151 has more cut. Power Finish finishes out nicer, though. 151 also will leave a combo sealant/wax LSP behind, for a true one-step. For DA, I'd go 151. For rotary, I'd go with the Power Finish.

Megs 151! You can also use DG501, Megs Color X, Poorboys Polish with Sealant and Polish with Carnuba.

Re: One Step Suggetsions?

I am going to try the D-151. Just ordered a 32 ounce sampler from ADS. I hope it will get here in time. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Re: One Step Suggetsions?

M205 and an orange LC pad also works pretty well on a lot of paints. Not really an AIO, but you didn't really specify if you wanted that or not.

let us know how it goes. I myself would like to order a gallon. I have really read nothing but good regarding it but its the very few people that second guess it that kind of make me question it but im sure it will be great.
