pad cleaning

Does Micro-Restore do a decent job at pad cleaning buffing pads? Usually I've used the packets of Snappy Clean but have run out. What makes the various powders on the market different or better for foam pad cleaning as opposed to a liquid microfiber-cleaning concentrate? I'm looking to consolidate some of my products to save some cash.

Save your cash and just spray an APC on them and aggravate with your hand, them soak and spin dry.
