Menzerna Polishes

I'm going to start attempting to do paint correction shortly. I like the :
Menzerna Super Intensive Polish PO 83
Menzerna Super Finish PO 106 FA
Menzerna Finishing Glaze PO 115C
All of this with the purchase of a flex does anyone disagree with this combination? Also is the 15lb-25lb pressure on the machine needed or just let the machine do the work? Any comments would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Any other Menzerna products needed for correction other than this combination? For any situation.

Skip the finishing glaze, and get PO85RD for a nice jeweling, finishing polish. If you use it on black it looks amazing. And jeweling with it on just about any other color it still looks awesome!

Although I havent used it yet, many guys on here (in their write-ups) use the Menzerna Power Finish PO 203 and it seems to yeild good results. On light colors it doesnt seem to need a finishing polish or glaze.

Is it needed to have 85rd and Power Finish? I see that power finish cuts your time down and finishes off nicely does 85rd do the same thing or use 85rd after power finish to jewel.

it is my undertsanding that 203 finishes down nicely on light colors and 85rd is needed on dark colors. Could always follow 203 with 85 on light colors but I am not sure if it is worth it

Are the Uber pads better than the lake country with the flex I've heard of skipping with the lake country ccs pads.

I have a Makita and use the LC pads and really like them. I have never used the flex or Uber pads so I cant comment on them. Hopefully someone with experience with those will chime in

I've found that using power finish with a green ccs pad is a great one step even on black paint. I've used this method on 2 black mercedes and a black corvette so far with great results. I'm sure that on softer paint finishes you would need to follow up with Final Finish though.

IMHO i would say no that would not be the best step to take.

SIP on Orange / PFW
106FA on White
85rd to finish on gray / blue

Power finish has more cut than 106FA and almost the same cut as SIP according to the chart over at autogeek.

If you are talking about jeweling the finish you wont get that with power finish. You also wouldn't want to use SIP then Power Finish. If you are going for optimum depth/clarity/wetness I would use SIP, 106FA then 85rd to refine the finish.

Don't overdo the applied pressure, esp. when doing contours/etc. where the machine's pad is at an angle. You don't want to force the backing plate into contact with the underlying felt ring, much less the machine's housing.

I'm not opposed to applying pressure in general, but with the Flex I believe you have to be a little careful about it.
