Need some recomendations please!

I am wanting to purchase a Porter Cable in the near future.

I will be detailing my Medium Gulf Blue Met. Grand Prix(1998) and my wifes Tan 01 Impala for the most part.

both cars have wear appropriate for their age, both have some nicks and swirls and i would like to remove them as best as possible. Both cars are daily drivers so i realize they won't look perfect but i want them to look better than they are.

My questions are this, I see alot of kits with the PC and such, but dunno which ones are the best deals, links would be great or just info is appreciated too.

What products would you guys recomend, i've been looking around and see i can spend alot of money on these products, and i'll be honest, $20-30 is the most i'm willing to spend on polish/wax/selant/compounds, unless they come with a happy ending.

I've had a few people recomend the Poorboys SSR 2.5 and SSR1. what are your guys thoughts on these?

I've always liked Meguiars products and was looking at their M21 sealant. thoughts?

What kind of wax would you guys recomend in the price range i'm looking to spend?

What kind of pads would you recomend? what size?

I've got about $300 to start with. including the price of a PC

You can start with this. The G110 a bit more powerful than the PC and the M205 is a pretty good polish.

Meguiar's G110 Dual-Action Polisher Express Kit

You may want to get a smaller backing plate and some 4" pads for the deeper swirls / tighter spots. Collinite LSPs give a nice value for the money.
