Meguiar's Kit vs. PC?

I know the popularity of the PC unit. But I really like what I've heard about the Meguiar's unit.

I found this kit online, Meguiars G110 Dual Action Pro Kit FREE BONUS It seems like a pretty good deal to me.

But I have to wonder is it really?

Also, after reading the Reviews of the PC on other websites, I came away with the feeling that the Meguiar's Unit comes with a little more power is this true?

What does the PC offer that the Meguiar's Unit doesn't? I can't decide....

As soon as the snow lets up I'm gonna have some serious detailing to do!

The megs buffer is slightly more powerful than the pc. However, the pc has been a pretty reliable machine.

If you are only doing a couple of cars either one would be fine. If you are doing this as a part time job, get a Flex.

Re: Meguiar's Kit vs. PC?

Nope, it's going to just be for my Personal Cars.

One is a 2008 Black Sand Pearl Toyota XRunner and the other is the G/F's 2004 Silver Heep (Jeep heh) Grand Cherokee.

I guess my only other question would be a good all inclusive kit. I'm not so worried about Chemicals, but more Pads, Covers, etc.

I found the one over at AutoGeek, but I know nothing of the Pads it comes with. I also saw the one linked from this site that comes with the Meguiar's Pads.

What should I be looking for? Perhaps a link explaining all the pads? :P.

Get the 5.5" pads and the 4" for heavier correction.

Re: Meguiar's Kit vs. PC?

I just received the G110 and it does indeed have more power.

Re: Meguiar's Kit vs. PC?

The G110 does have 25% more power, it is not a "little" or a "maybe"- it does.

It's a great, comfortable little unit. I love the feel of my G110 compared to my previous G100 (Which was a re-branded PC 7424).

It definitely has more oomph too.

Re: Meguiar's Kit vs. PC?

I just got a G110 and I like it, especially the results with M205. Some people say the G110 is louder than the PC though, but I don't have any personal experience with the PC.

Re: Meguiar's Kit vs. PC?

Thanks for all the replys guys .

I'm gonna head over to ADS.com (not autogeek.org sorry!) and order my kit right now!

Once I get it I'm sure I'll have a ton more questions.

Like the Pad Cleaning units they have. Are they worth it? Are they for someone who does a lot more deatailing? Or should I clean the pads after every use?

EDIT*

Re: Meguiar's Kit vs. PC?

I'd get the G110 over the PC if I was in the market. I have the PC and have tried the G110, it's a little more powerful - 4.2 amp vs 3.7 amp.
