Question Flex...what am I doing wrong?

I got to use my Flex for the first time this weekend. I was impressed with the correction ability compared to the PC; however, sometimes it seemed to just glide smoothly over the paint, and other times I felt as though I was fighting with it. Am I doing something wrong?

Also I noticed that the Flex does not seem to rotate as fast as my PC, even with the dial on 6. Is this true?

Thanks!

Re: Flex...what am I doing wrong?

What pads were you using?

My PFW just glides over the paint, while my CCS polishing pad always fights with it.

Just a flat, white LC pad.

while i don't have an answer i can tell you i've experienced this also. switching to another pad of the same type solved the problem, sometimes the problem would go away on it's own.

Re: Flex...what am I doing wrong?

could be an indication that your pads needed cleaning. i ran into something similar, but was solved when I used a towel to wipe off the excess product.
