Type of Hook on your Backplates ?

As if the different types of threading and diameter is not enough there is also the different variations of Velcro on backplates. The standard long hooks and then there are shorter hooks for non-wovens. Which hooks are on your backplates. I noticed that the supplied backplate from my Hitachi rotary comes with the long hooks and the backplate on the Mikita is the shorter T-hooks for sanding discs.

The standard "Hook & Loop" system. You find the hook portion on the backplate and the loop half on the pads:
