UDM 4" Pads?

I'm considering the UDM DA polisher. I notice that the UDM ships with a 5.75" backing plate and 6 1/2" pads. Do they make backing plates for the UDM that will accommodate 4" pads?

Re: UDM 4" Pads?

alright here goes....if I miss something then let me know

--------AUTOGEEK LINKS---------
if you WANT to use the PFW (purple foamed wool)

THE PAD - Foamed Wool 3.5 inch Buffing/Polishing Pad, spot polish with Lake Country Foamed Wool Pad, wool buffing pad, small wool pad
THE ADAPTER - D.A Adapter 5/8" X 11
2.75" BACKING PLATE - 2-3/4 Hook & Loop Backing Plate

the above pad is 3.5" and a 3.5" backing plate will not work, thus you WILL have to purchase the smaller one listed above. however for all other 4" pads a 3.5" backing plate listed below will work

3.5" BACKING PLATE - 3.5" Dual Action Flexible Backing Plate- porter cable 7424 or 7336 hook and loop backing plate 3.5 inch.
the 4" pads / etc - Spot Buffing 4 inch pads - 30% thicker than the Low Profile Spot Buffs!

-----Top of The Line-----

its exactly 4 inches so make sure you center it dead on perfect on a 4" pad
4" PAD HOLDER - Porter Cable Pad Holder 4"
4" FOAM Pads - Foam Pads 4"
OTHER STUFF - 4" Polisher Pads & Brushes

I think thats all
