Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: Rock Hill, SC Posts: 503 | PC and the counter weight? A dumb question My PC 7424 has 2 weights with it. One says use with 5" Pads the other says 6"pads. If I am using 5.5" pads and 4" pads do I just use the weight that says use with 5" pads? | |

Try it, you wont notice any difference between the two counter weights. | |

I think my hands are holding it together, but it still performs like a champ. Not very great on the durability scale, but it sure has worked well for me.
I still use all 3 machines...

Flex rocks thus far. Easy to use pretty safe and cuts so much better.

As even a 4" pad, wet with product, weighs a lot more than a single sheet of sandpaper, I use the 6" counterweights exclusively these days. | |

A lot pricier than the PC7424, but very well built. It utilizes the same basic motion as the PC, but different modes, stronger motors, faster motors, longer stroke...etc. German engineering.
