Can you use same backing plate for DA or Rotary
I'm just wondering if the backing plates are interchangeable between rotary's and PC's?

You can use the same pads on each though right? Also, what size backing plate do you buy for a 5.5. inch pad?

yes, you can use the same velcro pads (5.5"-6.5") and the backing plate for the 5.5" pads for the D/A would be the 5"...

You can use one backing plate if you got one of this rotary backing plates:
with this DA adapter.
